Final Fantasy XIII-2

Wow I do remember how did I reviewed the game by that time my Blog has been awoken form a deep slumber when I wrote this review it feels like a déjà vu again so I’m hoping you will like it because I love to talk about this game a lot since I played the first one & now you should know who much I like Final Fantasy XIII-2 (PS3, X360).

The game opens three years after the fall of Cocoon, noted in-game as 3 AF, as the Pulse town Serah lives in is attacked by monsters. A stranger named Noel appears to save the town, and claims to be a time traveler from 700 AF. He arrived in 3 AF via Valhalla, a realm at the end of time, where he claims to have met Lightning guarding the throne of the goddess Etro, who, according to myth, created humanity. As part of Lightning's transfer to Valhalla, paradoxes have erupted throughout time, enabling time travel between specific time periods via the Historia Crux and modifying history. Serah joins Noel to resolve these paradoxes, she hoping to find her sister and he in hopes to change the bleak future he was from.

O.K. time to go deep first off the visuals looks stunning but as a Final Fantasy Fan I noticed there is a few differences in the visual it seems it got a little bit downgraded it’s not noticeable but if it will help the game play who am I to blame them yes the game surly looks exactly as the previous one but this time yes people a really huge bigger world I spent hours of discovering the worlds one by one & I love about FFXIII-2 is battle system one of my favorite one that keeps you playing for hours yeah sure there is a “Pokémon” factor [Though I was hoping to play as either Hope, Sazh or his son or a completely new character] but hey as long there is a Chocobo in my party that count for something & the sounds effect is still stunning with the beauty of FFXIII-2 visuals.

So characters though we are missing Lightning … Serah & Noel is great team I like Noel a lot he remind me of Fang so much as for Serah well with all these comical answers that I’m choosing I think it made me to miss Vanille so much [What I’m not that mean to Serah & FFXIII-2 players admit it you all as horrible as me Xb] & Mog it’s been a while since I saw one & let’s say he is surprising as these creature surprise us in every Final Fantasy series there are few new characters you will meet during your journey such a Caius [or as my older brother say Mr. Soul Edge] he is let’s say a very unique character remind me a lot like Kain From FFIV but anyway though the story is short [Yes I felt pissed off too] but these bunch can make this story going.

As always I don’t write here much but an exception for few games only the Music of Final Fantasy XIII-2 truly as wonderful & memorable it keep ringing in your ears for hours I know that because the main theme is still ringing in mine.

Finally I have to say it is not a complete disappointment the FFXIII-2 content kept to be strong & memorable just like the previous game as you know as a fan for the series my judgment is not clouded I really love this game & as always I do have reasons to go back to it again IGN.com gave it 8.0/10 but my scale will give it 4.5/5.

The Hunger Games

So I was reading an article on the web & read about a book it might be the very big thing after Harry Potter so I decided to check it out by download a sample on my Kindle app unfortunately I didn’t got the time to read it. 5 months later [After 2010 Audit Season] I saw a movie trailer that has a familiar emblem I knew I saw it somewhere & there it is on the circled bird carrying an arrow so I decided before the movie release I take a glimpse of reading this amazing novel it was exciting & fantastic & couldn’t wait for the movie & man the movie has exceeded my expectations even the audience of the theater agrees with me so I believe we most talk about The Hunger Games.

In a dystopian future, the totalitarian nation of Panem is divided between 12 districts and the Capitol. Each year two young representatives from each district are selected by lottery to participate in The Hunger Games. Part entertainment, part brutal retribution for a past rebellion, the televised games are broadcast throughout Panem. The 24 participants are forced to eliminate their competitors while the citizens of Panem are required to watch. When 16-year-old Katniss's young sister, Prim, is selected as District 12's female representative, Katniss volunteers to take her place. She and her male counterpart Peeta, are pitted against bigger, stronger representatives who have trained for this their whole lives.

The story looks interesting & new & I love it the field of the games & the city looks so real & the sounds effects are magnificent even the directing is really befitting for the story perhaps that’s what made it remarkable and yeah too many weird & freaky characters or make up it seems it the future all of the next generation has been inspired by Lady GaGa don't you think XD.

So we have few characters I would like to appoint at starting with Katniss Everdeen played by (Jennifer Lawrence) like many of us she really is the perfect fit for the role I like her character in the books but I never would thought that I would love her more on the screen truly deserve the tittle of [The Girl on Fire], Next is Peeta Mellark played by (Josh Hutcherson) yeah still I don’t know why he’s in the games like most of us but apparently he might have a big role in the saga who know I haven’t read the rest yet ;b, Next is Gale Hawthorne played by (Liam Hemsworth) you know I wish he has a bigger role but it seems the fans already wishing for it & crossing fingers about it can’t blame them because at first I thought he is the male protagonist , Moving on to Haymitch Abernathy played by (Woody Harrelson) I had a feeling that Woody Harrelson himself will land the role & I was right he is the perfect fit for it I really like this character he do really makes you laugh in a very for some reason creepy way XD, Finally my personal favorite Rue played by (Amandla Stenberg) & I believe most of us love this character her unique skills & cuteness is adorable and a great hunter too you don’t see these kind of characters more often & as the people I know says after they watched the movie Rue is their personal favorite too :).

The music of the movie is dramatic & I mean all of it dramatic sounded like The Gladiator dramatic very beautiful music composition and fit for the movie well I didn’t give it that much attention but in some scenes they do have great scores

Well this is it so how did I like the movie well to summit it in one word (Amazing) like Harry Potter (Amazing) if you remove the bigger world & magic seriously I believe this movie will have a great future it's true because the audience of the theater room that I'm in they applause by the end of the movie & can't blame them it deserve this amazing applause too bad it’s only 3 novels for it or could I be wrong who knows either way we will find soon enough how long they will make it & we will support whatever they decide to be ended right ;)… So IMDb.com gave it 7.6/10 but I give it a 4.7/5.

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

Finally our own version of Indiana Jones of the video game is back with unfortunately might be the final chapter of his great adventure it is the most anticipated PS3 game of the year & it sealed it with a glory so here you go my own review of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception on (PS3).

The story begins with Nathan "Nate" Drake and Victor "Sully" Sullivan meeting with Talbot (in a pub in London), England. They negotiate a trade, a large sum of money in return for Sir Francis Drake's ring. Nate and Sully accuse Talbot of offering them counterfeit bank notes and, after fighting their way past Talbot's thugs, Nate and Sully emerge in an alleyway, where they are surrounded and subdued by Charlie Cutter, Talbot's cohort. They are then approached by Talbot's client, Katherine Marlowe, who steals Drake's ring. Nate attempts to go after her, but Cutter guns him and Sully down, seemingly "killing" them.

As expected the story is the most amazing part of the game but of course that can’t be it from the story to the sound effect looks way stunning than the previous games in short it looks sooooo realistic I cannot believe to pushed this game to it limits I had so much fun playing this sequel.

As always what we love about the story is their characters the charm of Nathan Drake is spreads through anyone around him & Sully will throw good old geezer jokes Cutter is a very good entry for the series I never expected that but I started to like the guy & let’s not forget the girls though one of them doesn’t have much of a roll anymore bummer but hay they delivered us a really great content with fitting characters & wonderful vice acting.

Wow, Wow & Wow by far without getting far away this is the most amazing games of the series & for the PS3 exclusive or not truly I enjoyed a lot of games on the PS3 but this particular one is the best & I hope I see more games like it in the market soon truly if you haven’t played it yet then you’re missing a lot IGN.com gave it a perfect 10/10 yeah they don’t give that kind of number & I have to agree on my scale it is a 5/5 & still standing.
